Dark Stone Coffee is all about Illumination!

Just like the moon is nothing but a dark stone without the sun to light it, we believe that we, too, can reflect true light through our passion, commitment, and product.

The Dark Stone team is led by owners Sarah and Eric Huie. Sarah and Eric are small business entrepreneurs. Sarah grew up in Fair Grove, MO. After earning a degree in mathematics, she completed her training and licensing from the Missouri Board of Cosmetology. She worked for several years in a local salon before opening LIV Salon in downtown Springfield with a fellow stylist and business partner. Twelve years later, she still owns LIV Salon and enjoys her clients.

Eric earned his degree in business management. He worked as a white-water rafting guide in Yellowstone National Park for 10 years and then spent 11 years employed by AG Financial Solutions. In this capacity, he consulted with nonprofit organizations about retirement, investments, and risk management.

Dark Stone Coffee is the by-product of passion, determination, and authenticity. Both Sarah and Eric have created a lifestyle around loving their family, community, and friends through their multiple small businesses.
